Using the Borla app*, you can listen to available sounds in the Borla library and view details on the vehicle & engine each will simulate. The library is ever-expanding with internal-combustion favorites and imagined sounds of the future.
With the vehicle in Park, you can use the app to assign up to four sounds at a time to the preset positions on the dashboard-mounted Controller. This unit allows you to instantly change sounds, adjust volume and turn the system on/off, either while driving or stopped.
* App coming in 2024. Until then, you can enjoy full functionality with four sound choices that come pre-loaded into the system.

Encoded within the DSP are proprietary algorithms developed specifically for driving enthusiasts. By analyzing the incoming CAN Bus data and using techniques similar to modern digital music generation, the algorithms “shape” your selected motorsound to simulate the acoustical dynamics and subtle performance nuances that are critical to the sport driving experience.

The speakers are protected by a weatherproof enclosure with environmental coating, bolting to existing factory mount points. Special-density rubber bushings within the mounts transfer just the right amount of subtle vibration to the cabin, further enhancing the system's realism.
Included with Mach-E systems, these Borla-embossed speaker grilles slide & lock into existing factory cutouts in the rear undercar shield for a clean and finished look.

EVERYTHING YOU NEEDThe Borla Active Performance Sound™ system is a complete plug & play solution. It includes the Controller, DSP, amplifier, speakers, mounting hardware, wiring, and the app (coming in 2024). Clear DIY installation instructions are included, and no special fabrication is required.
