Introducing the all-new BORLA XR-1 Tuner!

Calendar Posted on: October 25th 2016

As you know, BORLA has long been associated with providing quality exhaust systems that offer increases in both performance and sound quality. And now BORLA is excited to announce a new product line-up with the introduction of the BORLA XR-1 Tuner.

The BORLA XR-1 Tuner is intended for racing use only and will enhance the performance gains seen by BORLA’s exhaust products, further increasing the power and torque available from your vehicle.

Debuting at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, the XR-1 Tuner will initially be available for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost, but more applications will be added throughout 2017 and beyond.

Thanks to 40 years of experience creating Mustang products, BORLA technicians were able to fine-tune the XR-1 Tuner, optimizing its output to give owners of this 2.3L EcoBoost-equipped Mustang maximum excitement from its compact size.

The BORLA XR-1 Tuner is designed for DIY installation and includes stainless steel mounting brackets specifically for this application, as well as a custom wiring harness and easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions.

After installation, the XR-1 Tuner becomes a simple Plug ‘n Play device for on-demand performance: just plug in the XR-1 Tuner at the track and disconnect the device before heading home. And because the XR-1 Tuner intercepts signals leaving the vehicle’s ECU, its presence will not be detected on vehicle data recordings, nor is it affected by ECU software upgrades at the dealership.

On the track, you’ll immediately appreciate the gains from the XR-1 Tuner. With the device installed on the Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost, our R&D team in Oxnard, CA was able to record improvements of up to 70 lb/ft of torque and 40hp.

The XR-1 Tuner is available now from the nationwide network of BORLA dealers, and retails for $559.99 – so get yours today!
