Thousands of SEMA attendees were treated to new BORLA products in Las Vegas last week to demonstrate the latest cutting-edge technology from the brand you’ve known since 1978.
XR-1 Tuner
People were able to see the all-new XR-1 Tuner in person when the exciting new device debuted at the show.
Accompanying the XR-1 was an interactive display that allowed guests to explore the powerful capabilities of the small, but mighty Tuner, such as it’s ability to generate approximately 40 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque from the Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L.
Turbocharger Kits
The new BORLA EcoBoost turbocharger kits were on display, highlighting an upgrade package for the Ford 2.3L EcoBoost engine. This captured the attention of many enthusiasts with its boasts of more than 100 horsepower added to the already powerful motor powerplant. On another wall, our turbo kit for the 2011-16 Ford F150 EcoBoost 3.5L was showcased along with the included BORLA exhaust to demonstrate how you can achieve gains of 160 horsepower.
Borla Carbon Fiber
Among other BORLA products, a wall of carbon fiber greeted attendees, with everything from engine covers to mirror covers as well as rear spoilers for the C7 Corvette, current Mustang and Silverado. BORLA’s 2016 Camaro SS on display also featured a BORLA Carbon Fiber engine cover and new carbon fiber exhaust tips.
Borla Induction
Several Borla Induction systems were on display in the booth but many more could be found on display cars throughout the show, including Bobby Alloway’s 1963 Split-Window Corvette – a show favorite. It could also be found on Matt D’Andria’s Ford Mustang and Matt Crooke’s Porsche 911, among others.
