SEMA 2016 saw the debut of the BORLA 2017 Camaro SS. The flame-wrapped Camaro SS featured many new BORLA products, including its Carbon Fiber Engine Cover Set and Carbon Fiber Exhaust Tips. The car also highlighted the BORLA Cat-Back Exhaust System with ATAK® mufflers, which visitors were able to explore thanks to mirrors strategically placed under the car.
In addition to the BORLA upgrades, the muscle car included a Vortech supercharger, 20” ADV.1 wheels, KW suspension, sticky Pirelli P Zero tires, and high-performance Brembo brakes to round out its enhancements.
Another star of the BORLA booth at SEMA was a star of the Velocity TV channel’s Bitchin’ Rides. Dave Kindig was on hand to sign autographs and highlight the modifications to the 1952 Pontiac Chieftain “Mischief” convertible.
The rare convertible featured numerous Kindig-It Designs flourishes, including a custom-built chassis by Art Morrison and LS3 engine swap with a Magnusson supercharger that delivers a 500 horsepower to the wheels. With custom-built BORLA CrateMufflers added to the equation, the Pontiac was a massive hit in the booth.
Another BORLA car at SEMA 2016 included a 2017 Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost, which was displayed in the Grand Hall. It was easy to find thanks to an eye-catching BORLA flame wrap. The truck featured the all-new BORLA Turbocharger Upgrade Kit. The new turbos, electronics, exhaust system, spark plugs and air filter give triple-digit power increases for EcoBoost owners
There were, of course, numerous other vehicles displayed at SEMA 2016 with BORLA products. Some of the highlights include aftermarket wheel company, Fifteen52, which displayed at Porsche 911 SC called “RennPig.” It featured BORLA Induction throttle bodies installed in the air-cooled engine.
There was also a Lingenfelter LS3-powered ’63 Corvette Grand Sport, as well as Bobby Alloway’s ’63 Corvette with a BORLA Induction kit. Further notables included a ’65 Cobra and ’55 Chevy 3100 as well as a 2017 Ford Focus, demonstrating the diverse range of performance parts BORLA provides for the automotive enthusiast.
