Kia put its new rear-wheel-drive Stinger under the spotlight at SEMA 2017. It displayed a number of modified versions in its North Hall booth while offering visitors a drift demonstration outside.

The drifting attracted a great deal of attention to the sports car, as did the sound of the v6 turbo engine of the Stinger GT. It will be possible to enhance the exhaust sound of a BORLA Cat-back system with BORLA Carbon Fiber tips. The exhaust was on display in North Hall, where Kia showcased a number of modified vehicles. These included a widebody conversion plus a bright orange Stinger GT from Strauss Haus Enterprises that included the exhaust from BORLA among its many modifications.

The BORLA Kia Stinger exhaust system and Carbon fiber tips were designed in-house. The R&D team based in Oxnard, CA created a stainless steel exhaust that would enhance the motor power and exhaust note of the new Kia Stinger. The team also focused on the Stinger’s cosmetics, creating bold, round tips that protrude slightly from the Kia rear diffuser. The aim was to underscore the car’s sporting nature without requiring major modifications. As a result, Kia Stinger owners will be able to fit the BORLA Cat-back exhaust system and Carbon Fiber tailpipes to their Kia Stinger without encountering any fitting issues.
