Liberty Walk 2015 Mustang GT LTMW Borla exhaust

Japanese styling company Liberty Walk has risen to fame in recent years for its outrageous widebody conversions for everything from Ferrari and Lamborghini to Nissan and Chrysler. While the company is best known for its exotic European applications, it has always offered something for fans of American muscle cars. SEMA 2017 saw the debut of its latest body kit for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT, which was built and displayed by LTMotorwerks from El Monte, CA.

Run by Long Tran, the company is best known for its BMWs but it teamed up with Liberty Walk a few years ago and has been on a rollercoaster ever since. It’s not unusual for the LTMW to create up to 15 cars for the SEMA show, many coming together in the final hours as parts are shipped just in time for fitment.

The latest product from Liberty Walk is this Mustang body kit, which caught Long’s eye. He liked it enough to buy his own 2015 Mustang GT and fit the wider fenders and deep spoilers at his California body shop. Finished in bright red, the results are striking, to say the least.

It’s not all cosmetic, however. The 5.0L V8 features a Vortech supercharger and, because it’s a show car and not destined for use on the public roads, BORLA provided its stainless steel long-tube headers as well as a BORLA Cat-back™ exhaust system. The sight and sound of the LTMW Liberty Walk Mustang GT are truly imposing, guaranteed to stop people in their tracks wherever it’s seen. To grab people’s attention, Long also fitted Airlift air suspension, Forgestar wheels, Recaro seats and much more. For more details, the car has its own Instagram hashtag: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/libertywalkmustang/
