Big SoCal Euro 2018 presented by Volkswagen took place on September 2nd, in San Diego, California. It was held at the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium, formerly known as Qualcomm Stadium.

Big SoCal Euro is an annual car show that was founded in 2001 and has taken place every year since. It has established itself as one of the biggest all European car shows in the west coast. Big SoCal Euro hosts over 3,000 European cars throughout the region. Enthusiasts from all over California and even out-of-state make the trip to attend the show. Within the show is another event, Audi Fest. Audi Fest is a brand specific event inside Big SoCal Euro that has a dedicated area for the Audi brand. This year, Audi Club North America attended the show.

The family friendly event was free for all to attend thanks to its sponsors. The presenting sponsors included: Volkswagen, Audi San Diego, HRE Performance Wheels, Bilstein, and Toyo Tires. A few of the other event sponsors included, but were not limited to: KW Suspension, Mothers, Wagner Tuning, Solo-Werks, VMR Wheels, Eibach Springs, Air Lift Performance, K1 Speed, Mod Bargains, and of course, Borla Exhaust. Borla featured four cars in their booth: A Volkswagen MK7 GTI belonging to Jason Gelinas, Borla’s Marketing Manager, an Audi MK2 TT that belongs to Ola Lysenstoen, Senior Product Manager at Borla, Allroad Outfitters’ C7 Audi S6, and Julian Volpe’s B9 Audi Allroad.

Overall, it was a fun and eventful show with much to do that included raffles, music, food, automotive vendors, drag racing, and many more. It is always exciting when Borla gets a chance to meet and talk to other enthusiasts who are just as passionate about cars.
