Cat-Back™ and Axle-Back Exhaust Systems For Ford Mustang GT

Our Ford Mustang GT exhaust systems are offered in 2 different configurations: Cat-Back and Axle-Back.

Cat-Back exhaust systems replace all the components in your stock Mustang GT exhaust from behind the catalytic converters back to the exhaust tips. Cat-Back exhaust systems retain the factory catalytic converters and keep your vehicle street-legal.

Axle-Back systems stop short of replacing everything from behind the cats to the tips and instead replace the mufflers, some rear piping, and the tips themselves. This option gives you most of that spine-tingling Borla Cat-Back sound but at a more affordable cost.

When Ford introduced the Coyote V-8 for the Mustang GT, the automotive industry collectively dropped its jaws. To capitalize on this unique engine, the Borla SwitchFire X-Pipe utilizes patented technology that eliminates the turbulent front resonator section of the stock exhaust and combines engine exhaust pulses from both banks for a stunning sound. The SwitchFire X-Pipe replaces the stock front resonator and clamps on to the stock exhaust system.
