In addition, all Hellcat models come standard with Dodge’s active exhaust system which allows drivers to open a separate exhaust system path when activated for maximum noise and fury.
Borla®’s Cat-Back™ stainless steel exhaust systems for the Dodge Challenger Hellcat offer two options for handling the active exhaust system. Hellcat owners can opt to retain their factory active exhaust system by transferring the valves to the Borla® system or opt for a Cat-Back™ system with active exhaust simulators. If the active exhaust system valves are simply removed, your Hellcat with throw an annoying check engine light on the dashboard.
The active valve simulators prevent the annoying CEL and keep your Hellcat in the wide-open mode for maximum noise. The choice is yours!
