Loud for You. Quiet for Me.
When Christopher Polvoorde straps into the cab of his Mason Motorsports All-Wheel Drive Trophy Truck, he needs to think. Race pace, terrain changes, team communications over the radio: the last thing a professional driver needs is relentless exhaust drone eating away at his concentration mile after mile.
But when that truck clears a jump or comes screaming through spectator zones, it needs to sound exactly like what it is: a high-output racing machine built without compromise.
Which Borla Exhaust System Is Right for Your C8 Corvette?
The C8 Corvette lineup- Stingray, Z06, E-Ray, and ZR1- each pairs with a Cat-Back system engineered around that specific platform's engine and factory valve hardware. Picking the right C8 Corvette exhaust comes down to three things: which C8 you have, which sound level you want, and whether your car has the factory NPP hardware Borla's system is built around. Every system is T-304 stainless steel and backed by the Million Mile Warranty. Here's how the pieces fit together. For full part numbers and fitment by generation, see the Corvette Exhaust Buying Guide.

The Borla Legacy: Bridging 50 Years of Performance with the Future of Sound
What does a vintage Rolls-Royce have in common with a modern Ford Raptor or a high-performance EV? They are all part of the 50-year journey of Borla Performance Industries. At Borla, we don't just build exhaust systems; we engineer the emotional connection between a driver and their vehicle.
During the 2025 SEMA Show, our President, David Borla, sat down with Mike Caudill on the Chasing Horsepower stage to discuss our "top of the food chain" status, our heritage in material science, and how we are defining the future of automotive sound.
Why Exhaust Systems Drone: The Physics Behind Engine Sound
An engine’s signature sound is rooted in frequency and physics, not opinion. Before tone or volume, there is firing frequency. That baseline rhythm is the audible result of pressure pulses leaving the cylinders and interacting with both the exhaust system and the vehicle’s cabin.
