When RAM introduced the 5th-generation RAM 1500 in 2019, they continued selling the previous generation alongside it through 2024 under the name RAM Classic. If your 2019-2024 RAM 1500 has the pre-2019 body style, you have a RAM Classic. Classic and standard 5th generation RAM 1500 systems are not interchangeable — confirm your model before ordering.
A Cat-Back system replaces the entire exhaust from the catalytic converter back and is a bolt-on installation. A Mid-Section system replaces the middle section of the exhaust and works with the factory over-axle pipes and tips. Mid-Section systems for the RHO and TRX require cutting the O.E. tailpipe during installation. Optional tip kits are available for Mid-Section systems.
